Daut Haradinaj, a deputy from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), stated that his party has not changed its stance and is ready to vote for three specific candidates for Speaker of Parliament.
Speaking before today’s session for the constitution of the Assembly, Haradinaj said he expects the party that won the parliamentary elections to reflect. He added that AAK is ready for an opposition government, but without any concrete proposals or conditions.
“I am waiting for them to reflect. The Prime Minister has said they have the votes for the Government, not for the Assembly; I don’t understand what position he is holding. We are ready to cast our vote for three concrete names. We are open to cooperation, to finding solutions. We have said that we are ready for an opposition government; we don’t have any specific name or preference, and we have stated that we have no conditions,” he said.
