Daut Haradinaj, Member of Parliament from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), stated that he does not expect any changes in the continuation of the 18th constitutive session of the Assembly without a prior agreement.
Haradinaj emphasized that the AAK is ready to support another candidate for Speaker of the Assembly from the ranks of Vetëvendosje (VV).
He specifically mentioned MPs Shqipe Selimi and Saranda Bogujevci as potential candidates.
“As long as there is no agreement, the situation remains the same. I hope we will have the time to propose one of the candidates we were called to support — Selimi or Bogujevci. We are ready to vote for them. We have offered this as opposition; I believe it is a sufficient favor,” Haradinaj said.
He added that he thinks this is a good offer and believes that Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti should reflect on this proposal.
