The leader of the AAK (Alliance for the Future of Kosovo), Ramush Haradinaj, laid flowers at the Memorial of the Fallen Soldiers of the United Kingdom in “Edith Durham” Square in Pristina.

Haradinaj said that as the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth remember the fallen soldiers since World War I, Kosovo also joined its strategic allies in honoring Remembrance Day.

“Today, in tribute to the heroes who gave everything for peace and freedom, we joined our strategic allies in honoring Remembrance Day. On this day, when the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth remember the fallen since World War I, we express our deep respect for the sacrifice of the British soldiers,” Haradinaj said.

He added that Kosovo’s goal is direct membership in NATO through the Action Plan.

“In ‘Edith Durham’ Square in the capital, we laid flowers at the Memorial of the Fallen Soldiers of the United Kingdom, honoring their memory and strengthening the bond of friendship and everlasting partnership that unites us. Kosovo, built on the foundations of sacrifice and devotion, stands side by side with the democratic world. Today, on this shared journey, our goal is direct NATO membership through the Action Plan, to serve peace, security, and stability in the region and the world,” Haradinaj said.
