The leader of AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, today commemorated the massacres of March 1999 in Krusha e Madhe, Krusha e Vogël, and Suhareka, emphasizing that these horrific crimes are evidence of the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
“Those days in March, the genocidal regime committed one of the most monstrous and planned crimes, mercilessly executing 350 innocent women, elderly people, children, and young people,” Haradinaj writes, sharing the pain with the families who lost their loved ones.
He also commemorated with pain and respect the 49 martyrs of the Berisha family from Suhareka, who were brutally executed by Serbian forces, as well as the 23 victims from Landovica of Prizren and surrounding villages.
“Children and the elderly were mercilessly executed, just because they were Albanian, on their land and in their right. The massacres across Kosovo are proof of the sacrifice of our people for freedom. We will never forget, and we will never stop seeking justice for these crimes,” concludes Haradinaj.
