The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has commemorated the sacrifice and courage of United States war veterans on the occasion of Veterans Day, November 11.
In a message shared on Facebook, Haradinaj expressed Kosovo’s eternal gratitude toward the American veterans who, through their service, defended freedom and peace around the world—and played a crucial role in bringing freedom to Kosovo.
“On the occasion of Veterans Day, we honor the bravery and sacrifice of the veterans of the United States of America. Our people remain forever grateful for their service, which defended liberty and peace worldwide—and also brought freedom to Kosovo. American heroes are also heroes of Kosovo.
May God bless Kosovo and America,” wrote Haradinaj, the head of AAK.
This statement highlights the deep and enduring bond between Kosovo and the United States, a relationship built on shared values of freedom, sacrifice, and solidarity during and after the war.
