Former KLA fighter Nasim Haradinaj spoke about the tense psychological atmosphere in The Hague and the recent developments in the trial of former KLA leaders.
He emphasized that the pressure is immense and that strong statements from the accused are not unusual under these circumstances.
According to Haradinaj, the facts are undeniable, and the evidence presented so far regarding Hashim Thaçi has revealed the full truth about the role of the KLA before and after the war.
He expressed optimism that “The Hague’s struggles are coming to an end” and that justice will prevail, predicting that next year, the former fighters will celebrate together again.
“In The Hague, the psychological pressure is very high. That’s why it’s not the first time he has expressed himself this way. The facts are persistent and must overcome the fabricated evidence. The evidence regarding Thaçi has shown the full truth. They know how the KLA behaved before and after the war. I believe that The Hague’s struggles are the last ones. I believe that justice will prevail, whether they like it or not. I think next year they will celebrate with their fellow fighters. Because here, we all win; they win personally as well,” Haradinaj said in an interview with AbcNews.al.
