The Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has extended his congratulations to the cities of Gjakova, Rahovec, Drenas, Obiliq, and Vitia on their respective Liberation Days.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj stated that in June 1999, Kosovo’s cities were being liberated one after another, and the centuries-old dream of the people to be free was being realized.
Haradinaj’s Message on Liberation
“In June 1999, our cities were being liberated one after another, and our centuries-old dream of being free on our land and with our rights was being realized. The victory of the brave KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) alongside NATO are significant and unforgettable moments in everyone’s life. Kosovo is now breathing freely, and it is our obligation to honor the centuries-old sacrifice,” Haradinaj wrote.
He concluded his message by expressing gratitude: “Being grateful to everyone who contributed to freedom, I congratulate all citizens of Gjakova, Rahovec, Drenas, Obiliq, and Vitia on Liberation Day.”
