The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) candidate for Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, met with the British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, to discuss Kosovo’s path to NATO membership.
Following the meeting, Haradinaj emphasized the importance of British support for Kosovo’s NATO integration:
“Today, I welcomed the British Ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Jonathan Hargreaves. We discussed the United Kingdom’s vital support for Kosovo’s NATO membership. Together, we shared a vision for a Kosovo fully integrated into Euro-Atlantic structures. Our path to NATO is irreversible and strategically essential for regional security,” Haradinaj stated.
Strengthening Bilateral Partnerships
Haradinaj also highlighted the continued partnership between Kosovo and the United Kingdom in state-building efforts.
“The United Kingdom remains one of our strongest allies in state-building. Our bilateral partnership will further strengthen as we pursue our shared objectives for a secure Kosovo and region,” he added.
The meeting underlines Kosovo’s unwavering commitment to advancing its Euro-Atlantic aspirations, with support from key international allies like the United Kingdom.
