As part of his visit to the United States, the leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, held a working meeting with Richard Grenell, the Presidential Special Envoy for Special Missions, who is set to begin his duties tomorrow, the day Donald Trump is inaugurated as President of the United States.
According to the AAK’s announcement, the Western Balkans, including Kosovo, will be part of Ambassador Grenell’s engagement in his new role within President Trump’s second administration.
“AAK Chairman Haradinaj reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to restoring strategic relations with the United States, with the primary goal of Kosovo’s accession to NATO!” the AAK statement reads.
