Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), held a meeting with Anu Prattipati, the Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo, to address the current institutional deadlock and broader political developments in the country and the region.
In a post shared on Facebook, Haradinaj emphasized the importance of political cooperation in overcoming the ongoing political and institutional crisis that has persisted for months.
“We discussed the developments in Kosovo and the region, as well as the situation caused by the prolonged institutional blockade,” Haradinaj wrote.
He further informed Ms. Prattipati of the Alliance’s position and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to contributing actively to the swift formation of new institutions based on the results of recent elections.
“I thanked Ms. Prattipati for her active role and the continued support of the United States of America in the crucial processes our country is going through,” Haradinaj added.
The meeting underlined the vital role of U.S. support in ensuring democratic stability and advancing Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
