Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), today met with Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans. Their discussion centered on current developments in Kosovo, with a particular focus on the urgent need for consolidating democratic institutions and the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
Haradinaj acknowledged the vital role the United Kingdom has played not only in Kosovo’s liberation but also in its post-war development. He emphasized that the UK remains a key factor for peace and stability in Kosovo and the wider region.
“Grateful for Ms. Pierce’s engagement and for the United Kingdom’s commitment to Kosovo,” Haradinaj stated in a Facebook post following the meeting.
