The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, announced today the nomination of Mr. Ajet Avdyli as the party’s candidate for mayor of the municipality of Artana in the upcoming local elections.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj emphasized that Mr. Avdyli embodies a deep commitment to the national cause, having contributed for many years both in the diaspora and in his homeland. He praised Avdyli’s service to the Albanian community abroad and his valuable work in Artana, where he is well-known and respected.
“Mr. Avdyli is the embodiment of dedication to the national cause both in the diaspora, where for decades he has lived and acted in service of the Albanian community, and in his hometown, where his engagement is well-known and appreciated,” Haradinaj wrote.
Haradinaj added that Mr. Avdyli’s professional experience in the fields of education and finance offers strong guarantees for a responsible and citizen-focused local governance.
“Municipal governance is the closest level of action for improving the daily lives of our citizens. With Mr. Avdyli, Artana gains a new opportunity to be governed with dignity, knowledge, and dedication,” concluded the AAK leader.
