The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, has reaffirmed that the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) would receive five votes from AAK for the position of Speaker of the Assembly if the candidate is Glauk Konjufca, Saranda Bogujevci, or Shqipe Selimi.

Haradinaj stated that they are ready to vote for a unifying candidate from VV.

“We are ready to vote for a unifying candidate from VV. We’ve said we would vote for Glauk Konjufca, but also for someone else. We are dependent on Vetëvendosje,” said Haradinaj.

He criticized VV for what he described as an indifferent approach to the matter.

“It’s frightening to see such an indifferent approach. That they cannot find a candidate who can gather votes. I say this in front of the citizens of Kosovo: we’ve offered Saranda, Shqipe, and Glauk Konjufca. Let them nominate one of them — they’ll have our five votes,” Haradinaj said on T7.

He emphasized that these five votes are being offered to VV with no strings attached.
