The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, is expected at the Pentagon today to discuss Kosovo’s membership in NATO.
This was announced in a statement from the AAK, which highlights that its leader will be welcomed at the State Department tomorrow.
“Today, Haradinaj will be at the Pentagon, where he will speak about Kosovo’s NATO membership, and tomorrow he will be at the State Department,” the statement reads.
In Yonkers, New York, the city’s mayor, Mike Spano, honored Haradinaj with the City’s Certificate of Appreciation.
During the ceremony, October 20, 2024, was officially declared as ‘Ramush Haradinaj’s Honored Day.’ Mayor Spano also proclaimed October 20 as the official day for raising the flag of Kosovo in Yonkers.
“Haradinaj dedicated this honor and recognition to all those who believe in a free and NATO-integrated Kosovo, in the everlasting friendship with the American people and state, as well as to his fellow fighters from the KLA,” the AAK statement adds.
