The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, stated that his party will not obstruct the election of the Speaker of the Assembly today.
“As far as we’re concerned, we won’t be an obstacle to the election of the Speaker of the Assembly,” said Haradinaj as he entered the Parliament for the constitutive session.
Haradinaj also noted that he has not met with his coalition partner, Fatmir Limaj, with whom he ran in the election.
“I haven’t had a meeting with Limaj.”
He emphasized that they will remain united with the opposition.
“There will be a joint position among the opposition—PDK, LDK, and us. We won’t separate. In principle, we are not against it, but we will not act separately from the opposition.”
“We’ve been in touch by phone and have had ongoing discussions.”
