The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ramush Haradinaj, welcomed a delegation of Albanian Army colonels today in Gllogjan, in a symbolic meeting held in honor of the nation’s martyrs.
In a Facebook post, Haradinaj expressed gratitude for the visit and emphasized the importance of cooperation between the military forces of Kosovo and Albania.
“I had the pleasure of welcoming respected colonels of the Albanian Army in Gllogjan, where together we honored the martyrs who gave their lives for our freedom,” he wrote.
Haradinaj stressed the need for deeper military cooperation between the two countries, adding that Kosovo’s NATO membership remains a strategic objective.
“Kosovo in NATO, side by side with our Albanian brothers, is more than a goal it is a guarantee for long-term peace and stability in the region and beyond,” Haradinaj stated.
