The British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, announced his meeting today with Kreshnik Radoniqi, Chair of the Central Election Commission (CEC), to discuss preparations for Sunday’s municipal elections.
The Ambassador said he thanked Radoniqi and his team “for their efforts to make these elections inclusive, transparent, and efficient, and noted the importance of ensuring that legitimate media can observe the elections in accordance with Kosovo’s laws.”
Furthermore, Hargreaves stated that “the United Kingdom is pleased to support the CEC through a UK Government-funded cyber project, in its vital work to ensure the integrity and smooth running of the municipal elections.”
