British Ambassador to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves, has called on deputies to unite and find a solution before the deadline set by the Constitutional Court expires.
A Call for Unity to End Deadlock
Hargreaves warned that if a solution isn’t found, Kosovo will enter “uncharted territory.”
“I call on Kosovo’s politicians to come together and find a solution to end the deadlock before the Constitutional Court’s deadline expires tomorrow,” the ambassador urged.
This statement comes as deputies have repeatedly failed to constitute the Assembly, with the final attempt before the deadline also proving unsuccessful. The Constitutional Court’s order to halt all parliamentary activities from Sunday until August 8 adds further urgency to the need for a political resolution.
