Albanian-American activist and businessman Harry Bajraktari has written about what he calls “nine de facto recognitions for Kosovo,” highlighting Kosovo’s participation alongside non-recognizing states in U.S. President Donald Trump’s Peace Board.

“Nine de facto recognitions for Kosovo. Countries that still do not recognize the independence of the Republic of Kosovo — Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Paraguay, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, and Morocco — are now sitting as EQUALS with the Republic of Kosovo on President Trump’s prestigious Peace Board,” he wrote on X.

Bajraktari stated that “by joining this elite forum chaired by U.S. President Donald Trump, these countries have de facto accepted Kosovo’s statehood.”

“Now is the time for this to become official. I call on their leaders to recognize Kosovo IMMEDIATELY. I also call on President Vjosa Osmani to directly contact each of these heads of state to secure full diplomatic recognition.”

Bajraktari further urged President Trump “to mediate these vital recognitions, strengthening his global peace mission and deepening cooperation within the Peace Board.”
