Luka Mišetić, defense lawyer for former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi, concluded his closing statements in the trial against Thaçi and other former KLA leaders, reports Express.
In his final remarks, Mišetić urged the court to declare Thaçi not guilty of all charges:
“Honorable judges, I respectfully ask you to find my client not guilty on all charges,” he stated.
Mišetić also thanked all parties involved for their cooperation, including the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in The Hague.
Following Mišetić, the court heard the closing statement of Kadri Veseli’s defense attorney, Rodney Dixon.
