The outgoing Minister of Justice and Vetëvendosje’s nominee for Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, arrived at the Kosovo Assembly a few minutes ago.
She avoided speaking to the press and did not respond to questions about whether she had secured the votes needed to be elected Speaker of the Assembly.
Haxhiu entered the Assembly building quickly and without comment.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti also declined to answer when asked by journalists whether they have the necessary votes for the Speaker position.
