The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, met today with Emanuele Giaufret, Deputy Managing Director of the European External Action Service (EEAS) for the Western Balkans.
According to Haxhiu, the meeting focused on the latest political developments in Kosovo and the importance of continuing reforms to strengthen institutions and advance the country’s democratic progress.
“We discussed the work of the Assembly, ratified agreements including the Growth Plan, and outlined our legislative and political priorities,” Haxhiu said.
She also emphasized Kosovo’s application for European Union membership, highlighting the seriousness and commitment of state institutions as well as the need for support from EU partners to advance the integration process.
The meeting reflects Kosovo’s ongoing commitment to constructive dialogue with the European Union and to consolidating key reforms that support its path toward membership.
