Hazir Haziri, who was arrested by Serbian authorities in September last year, has been released today.
He has now arrived in Kosovo through the Merdare border crossing, where he was welcomed by his family members.
Haziri was also received at Merdare by his lawyer, Arianit Koci.
Koci stated that no innocent citizen should remain imprisoned in Serbian jails, adding that he has been committed to this cause and will continue to be so whenever necessary.
“I keep my word. I said I would bring Hazir Haziri back from prison in Serbia. Tonight, Hazir Haziri is in Kosovo. No innocent citizen should remain in Serbian prisons. I have been committed to this, and I will continue to be committed whenever needed,” Koci said.
