LDK MP Lutfi Haziri stated that Kosovo cannot form a technical government because of political polarization.

He emphasized that the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) had previously proposed a “Unity Government.”

“A political majority could approach the president, but I don’t see that there is a political majority. At the very least, efforts should have been made to convince the deputies, not just me. It was clear that reaching 60 votes was far off. It’s not just about the budget – it’s also about ratifying international agreements that have major financial implications, the EU growth plan, financial sanctions, and the suspension of the Strategic Agreement. Kosovo is too polarized to form a technical government, but a Unity or transitional government, as proposed by Mr. Lumir Abdixhiku, could work,” Haziri said.
