The Deputy Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lutfi Haziri, stated in an interview with RTV21 that the names of Kosovo’s prime ministers and presidents “pass through LDK offices,” referring to the party’s long-standing experience and political tolerance.
“Our experience and LDK’s tolerance because we have built governments with everyone, we have invited partners into government, and we have responded when others invited us we have always been ready to compromise. That is our role,” Haziri emphasized.
He added:
“This is what I have always said: the names of prime ministers and presidents go through the offices of LDK, as do the names of governments.”
Haziri’s statement appears to reaffirm LDK’s intention to position itself as a key decision-making force in the formation of future governments, especially amid the current political uncertainties in Kosovo.
