The General Director of the Kosovo Correctional Service (KCS), Ismail Dibrani, together with the Director of the Dubrava Correctional Center, Sami Gashi, received in a meeting the Head of the EULEX Mission, Giovanni Pietro Barbano.
According to a press release, the meeting focused on the achievements of the Kosovo Correctional Service and on areas of further cooperation between the two institutions.
Barbano commended the dedication and performance of the staff at the Dubrava Correctional Center, praising the institution’s ongoing improvements and professional commitment.
Following the meeting, Dibrani and Barbano toured several areas of the facility, including the Institution for the Treatment of Persons with Special Needs and other correctional units.
“The visit was carried out as part of the ongoing cooperation between the Kosovo Correctional Service and the EULEX Mission, aimed at strengthening professional standards and best practices within the country’s correctional system,” the statement concluded.
