A former minister, a judge from the Basic Court in Prishtina – Graçanicë Branch, and five other individuals appeared in court today, 20 December 2025, for a hearing following their arrest.
According to KALLXO.com, some of the arrested were brought to the Prishtina Court building, with their lawyers entering the courtroom. Family members of the arrested were also present outside the court.
The arrested individuals include:
Jovica Mitrović, Fadil Ismajli, Shaban Terbunja, Goran Llaziq, Bedri Dibrani, and Naim Krasniqi.
The seven were arrested during a police operation in the Prishtina region, authorized by the Special Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo, on suspicion of abuse of official duty, bribery, exerting influence, and false declarations.
During the operation, three individuals were caught in flagrante exchanging €9,900 as part of a bribery agreement.
Kosovo Police reported that searches were conducted at five locations, resulting in the seizure of cash, three vehicles, six mobile phones, a laptop, and at one location, weapons and ammunition were found.
The operation, conducted with covert measures and field teams, began in the early hours of 18 December 2025 and concluded in the evening with the arrest of seven individuals.
