The court hearing for Bedri Shabani and Muharrem Qerimi, both accused of espionage, was postponed.
Presiding judge Rrahman Beqiri announced that Shabani’s lawyer, Besnik Berisha, was absent from today’s session.
Judge Beqiri asked Shabani whether he wished to continue with the same lawyer for his defense. Shabani responded:
“Yes, I want to continue with lawyer Besnik Berisha until the conclusion of the trial.”
Following this, Judge Beqiri declared that the session would be adjourned, as the necessary conditions for holding the hearing were not met.
