The European Union’s special envoy for the dialogue, Peter Sorensen, called for the full implementation of all agreements reached in the dialogue process during a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Brussels.

The discussion focused on the Ohrid Agreement and specific technical steps to advance dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. According to the EU, High Representative Kaja Kallas will convene a high-level dialogue meeting as soon as the appropriate conditions are in place.

“Sorensen called for the complete implementation of all dialogue agreements and reiterated the EU’s expectation for constructive engagement from both sides—Kosovo and Serbia—in the process of normalizing relations. High Representative Kallas will convene a high-level dialogue meeting once the appropriate conditions are met,” the EU stated.

Following the meeting, Vučić expressed willingness to fully and consistently implement the agreements. Despite Serbia previously refusing to sign and implement the basic normalization agreement with Kosovo, Vučić indicated during the talks with Sorensen that Serbia is now interested in taking concrete steps and is open to compromises.

The EU continues to emphasize that progress in dialogue requires practical action and mutual commitment, while both sides are expected to demonstrate good faith and adherence to prior agreements.
