Heavy rainfall has caused damage in several areas of the capital, including a street in the Veternik neighborhood of Prishtinë.
The road had already started to crack due to nearby construction works, and the continuous heavy rain in recent days caused part of it to collapse.
The Kosovo Hydrometeorological Institute reported that as a result of persistent rain over the past days, local flooding has occurred in several parts of the country, particularly in the western regions (Gjakovë, Junik, Deçan, Malishevë, Klinë) as well as in central areas.
