Significant vehicle congestion and long wait times were reported this morning at several border crossings in Kosovo.
Longest Delays at Merdare
According to the latest update from the National Center for Border Management, Merdare remains the busiest border point, with wait times to exit Kosovo ranging from 3 to 4 hours. The line of vehicles extends up to 3 kilometers.
Delays at Dheu i Bardhë and Mutivodë
- At Dheu i Bardhë, drivers face up to 2-hour waits, with queues reaching 800 meters.
- At Mutivodë, the wait times are similar, reaching 2 hours, with vehicle lines extending 400 meters.
Smooth Flow at Other Crossings
In contrast, crossings at Jarinje, Bërnjak, Hani i Elezit, Qafë e Morinës, and Vermicë are seeing normal movement, with minimal wait times of 3 to 10 minutes and no significant queues.
