The family of former President Hashim Thaçi has opened its doors for tributes to be paid next to the coffin of Haxhi Thaçi, who passed away on March 16.
At the “Ilaz Kodra” gymnasium in Skenderaj, where the homages are taking place, many citizens have come since the early hours of the morning to honor the deceased and express condolences to the family.
Present at the ceremony are also close family members, including the mother, wife, and son of the former president.
The tributes will continue until 12:00, after which a commemorative meeting will be held. Haxhi Thaçi’s burial will take place at 15:00 at the cemetery in the village of Burojë, Skenderaj.
