Hovenier Departs Kosovo, Prattipati Assumes Charge d’Affaires Role at U.S. Embassy

The outgoing U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, has left the country.

This was announced in a post by Hovenier on the platform “X” (formerly Twitter).

Anu Prattipati has taken over as the Charge d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kosovo.

Prattipati was appointed Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy at the end of July.

She was introduced by Ambassador Hovenier.

“It is my pleasure to welcome Anu Prattipati to Kosovo as the new Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy. I look forward to working together to strengthen the relationship between Kosovo and the United States,” Hovenier wrote on July 29th on X.
