U.S. Ambassador Jeff Hovenier, who is nearing the end of his term in Kosovo, spent Christmas at Camp Bondsteel, where he hosted President Vjosa Osmani and her family.
Hovenier stated that he and his wife, Laura, were honored by President Osmani’s presence and celebrated Christmas together with U.S. and NATO soldiers who were spending the holiday away from their families.
“Laura and I were honored that President Vjosa Osmani and her family joined us at Camp Bondsteel to celebrate Christmas with U.S. and NATO soldiers who serve far from their families and contribute every day to a peaceful and secure Kosovo. I wish a happy holiday season to all those celebrating in Kosovo and around the world,” Hovenier wrote.
