The U.S. Ambassador to Pristina, Jeff Hovenier, has written on the occasion of the passing of former U.S. Ambassador Tina Kaidanow, stating that she left a lasting legacy in the region by working to advance peace and security, particularly for the people of Kosovo.
“A career member of the U.S. diplomatic service, Ambassador Kaidanow left a strong legacy in the region, dedicating her career to advancing peace and security, especially by supporting the people of Kosovo in achieving their vision for a sovereign, multi-ethnic, and successful democracy.”
“We will miss her greatly. We send our condolences to her family and to all those who had the privilege of knowing her,” Hovenier wrote.
