The U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, stated that in the meeting between U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, James O’Brien, and Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his deputy, Besnik Bislimi, there were important discussions.
In a post on “X” (formerly Twitter), where Hovenier shared photos from yesterday’s meeting, he said the talks focused on increasing peace and prosperity to ensure that all citizens of Kosovo live in dignity and security.
“Thank you to U.S. Assistant Secretary O’Brien for his visit to Kosovo. We had important discussions with government leaders on our partnership to enhance peace and prosperity, to ensure that all Kosovo citizens live in conditions of dignity and security, and to advance Kosovo on its Euro-Atlantic path as a modern and European state,” the ambassador wrote.
