Moldovan authorities were alarmed at a discovery they had made. They announced they had identified people who had been trained in Russia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia to carry out a coup. According to the statement, the groups were trained in destabilization, including the assembly and production of explosives, demonstration methods and the use of drones.
It is suspected that the destabilization of the country was planned at the time of the referendum on Moldova’s entry into the European Union. Moldova’s intelligence agency has identified 11 foreign nationals who, according to the statement, provided assistance to training camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia as instructors alleged rape in Russia, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina: young people practice protests.
Trained demonstrations
According to the allegations of the Moldovan police, in Bosnia and Herzegovina the persons mentioned were trained in the methods of demonstrations, production of explosives, use of drones… videos published by the police are allegedly shown training in Russia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. and in which young people can be seen in the classroom “protesting” and shouting slogans like “our language is Russian”, “no dual citizenship”, “we don’t want to go to Europe”.
Moldovan police chief Viorel Cernauțeanu informed the public that a certain number of people have been trained in the Balkan countries.
“Some of those boys were selected for advanced training in guerrilla camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. Those young boys were trained by foreign instructors, who are affiliated with the Russian paramilitary organizations Wagner and Ferma,” said Cernauțeanu.
People trained in demonstration methods, making explosives, using drones
The intelligence service in BiH has been recording activities in the last 90 days intermittently and as they have said, investigations are still ongoing.
Details were provided by the member of the Committee for supervision of the work of the intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Shemsudin Mehmedovic.
“Unfortunately, the director could not deny the existence of such centers, i.e. individuals doing training, and this further complicates the security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Even more so, the Minister of security in public statements denies such a possibility. It is possible that such things happen in BiH precisely because some in the government structures, who are responsible, have covered up such activity which is completely illegal, because it does not have the approval of the competent institutions of BiH,” Mehmedovic said.
And after security minister Nenad Nesic said a few days ago that” the mention of Bosnia and Herzegovina in this context is clearly an attempt at manipulation in the midst of a heated political campaign in Moldova, ” he made no further announcement.
Some of those boys were selected for advanced training in guerrilla camps in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, emphasized Cernauțeanu.
According to portals in Bosnia, the security services recorded Russian citizens who occasionally came to BiH and who have direct links to Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Russian paramilitary Wagner formation, who died in a plane crash following the rebellion against Putin.
Also, Russian citizens arriving for service in our country are connected with the Russian organization Fermat, which in 2023 was involved in financing and organizing destabilizing protests in Moldova.
Ilija Cvitanovic, chairman of the OSA Oversight Committee, told Oslobodjenje that these were illegal actions that took place on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“We can confirm, according to the OSA, that there were foreign nationals who did some kind of training to disrupt potential demonstrations or to organize them. I do not have information that I can tell him where he was, I did not speak at all about the camps, but about the people who did those things in BiH,” Cvitanovic said.
In the podcast “directly with Vildana Selimbegovic” on Channel O, The member of the OSA Oversight Committee, Sabina Cudic, spoke about Russian influence in the region and compared our country to Moldova, where there. there is clearly unrest, but also, according to the police, plans to break the path to the European Union of that country.
“According to the OSA, foreign nationals were being trained to break up demonstrations or organize them,” Cvitanovic said.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina is ahead of those countries, because at least nominally all parties and all leaders are in favor of the European Union, but certainly not fundamentally. And not just those who are usually suspected of being anti-European. I mean, let’s observe the events not only within Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in the context of the region, what is happening in Croatia, What are Vucic’s political ambitions, what is happening with Russian influences in the countries that are on the verge of deployment. Only 900 votes in Moldova decided to elect the European Union. It is a building in Sarajevo, in New Sarajevo. I want to say that we are very focused on the events in the microcosm of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Cudic concluded.
The session of the committee for supervision of the work of the OSA has been called for Monday, at which the director of the OSA Almir Dzuvo should be present, after which the public should learn more about this topic.
