How the Seats Are Distributed for Parties After Counting 90% of the Postal Votes

Analyst Shenoll Muharremi has commented on the latest result of the postal votes from the diaspora, where according to the CEC, over 90% of the votes have now been counted and processed.

According to Muharremi, with this result, the 100th mandate in the Kosovo Assembly still belongs to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, though it remains uncertain.

“Latest Results: The 100th Mandate is Uncertain According to the latest results, where 90% of the diaspora votes have been counted, and the conditional votes are being distributed proportionally to the results from Kosovo, currently, as of March 4 at 08:30, using the D’Hondt method, the 100th mandate still belongs to PDK,” said Muharremi.

According to him, these are the mandates for each party so far:

“Possible Final Results According to Current Trend (March 4, 08:30):

LVV: 42.29% of the votes and 48 Mandates
PDK: 20.96% of the votes and 24 Mandates
LDK: 18.25% of the votes and 20 Mandates
AAK-N: 7.07% of the votes and 8 Mandates
Minorities/Others: 11.42% of the votes and 20 Mandates
These estimations are being made in real-time and may still change until the final count.”
