The Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, visited today the family of Kosovo hero Afrim Bunjaku on the anniversary of his death in the line of duty during the terrorist attack in Banjska.
Hoxha described the day as a glorious one, emphasizing that the Banjska attack marked the end of the dominance of criminal gangs and terrorist groups in that area.
“It is a glorious day. I think this is the final day when the dominance of criminal gangs and terrorist groups in Banjska came to an end,” Hoxha said.
He emphasized that the Kosovo Police operates under dangerous conditions and that the day of the attack was particularly difficult for the officers who were on duty, above all for Afrim Bunjaku.
“Unfortunately, it was hardest for Afrim and his colleagues who were on duty. However, I want to assure you that Afrim’s blood was not shed in vain,” the Director of the Kosovo Police said.
