PDK deputy Enver Hoxhaj responded to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s recent statements about Serbia purchasing advanced missiles from China.

Speaking on the program Kosova Live, Hoxhaj described Vučić’s declarations as “worrying for regional security”, while noting that Kosovo’s institutions have not issued any official response to these provocations.

He criticized the Kosovo government for focusing more on domestic political matters than on strategic issues. “The government and those in power are more concerned with the ‘divorce’ of their current positions in our political life and don’t have time to address topics of strategic interest. Over the years, we have seen neither foreign policy nor defense policy, but rather media propaganda,” Hoxhaj stated.

He added that Vučić’s declarations and actions regarding military armament must be taken seriously by both Kosovo institutions and international allies.
