PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj commented on Serbia’s purchase of supersonic missiles from China, stating that this development raises serious concerns.

“Serbia acquiring hypersonic strike capabilities with Chinese missiles raises serious questions about regional security. The Balkans cannot afford a return of hegemonistic mentality or Serbia’s legacy acting as a ‘small Russia.’ NATO must strengthen deterrence measures to protect stability,” Hoxhaj wrote.

Serbia bought supersonic ballistic missiles from China, confirmed Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, while neighboring Croatia called for a response from the NATO alliance.

With this purchase, Serbia became the first country in Europe, after Pakistan, to acquire China’s CM-400 missiles, which have high destructive power.
