The Sector for Investigation of Persons Missing During the War, in cooperation with the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IFM) and the Government Commission for Missing Persons, conducted an exhumation operation yesterday at the cemetery in the city of Vushtrri.
The exhumation was carried out based on an order from the Basic Court in Pristina – Special Department. During the excavation, human remains believed to be of forensic interest were uncovered.
The remains were recovered from the site and transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for medical-legal examination and possible identification.
