Ukraine endured another night of intense attacks across at least 10 regions. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced via Telegram that Russian forces launched over 300 kamikaze drones and more than 30 missiles of various types against Ukrainian cities.
“Targets are being destroyed, but some drones are still in flight,” Zelensky stated, emphasizing that Ukrainian army defense units successfully repelled the assault, though the threat remains constant, according to A2 CNN.
One of the most severely impacted areas was Odesa, in the south of the country, where local authorities reported at least one person killed and three others injured after an attack involving approximately 20 drones. Ukrainska Pravda stated that several buildings were damaged, with one catching fire.
Across the border, Russia reported itself under a massive attack from Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 71 Ukrainian drones targeting nine different regions of the country were shot down during the night.
