In a ceremony held yesterday at Camp Novo Selo, the commander of the NATO-led mission in Kosovo (KFOR), Major General Enrico Barduani, led a medal parade for the Kinetic Tactical Reserve Battalion (KTRBN), Rks News reports.

During the event, soldiers from Hungary and Romania were decorated with the NATO Non-Article 5 Medal, in recognition of their professionalism, dedication, and service to peace and stability in Kosovo. These values represent the core of the KTRBN, a high-readiness unit of KFOR that plays a key role in fulfilling the mission’s mandate.

In his speech, General Barduani expressed deep gratitude to the troops:

“I am truly grateful for your commitment to KFOR’s mission of maintaining a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo.”

KFOR continues to carry out its mission in accordance with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), operating impartially and in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).
