Rama’s Reaction to Thaçi’s “Rubikon” Interview

A specific line from Thaçi’s interview on “Rubikon” caught the attention of Prime Minister Rama. Thaçi stated, “I am temporarily deprived, but my people are eternally free.”

Responding to this, the Prime Minister of Albania shared a photo of Thaçi along with the quote on social media.

“Very true, Commander… What is neither free nor smells good is international justice,” Rama wrote, referencing Thaçi’s wartime nickname and expressing a critical view of the legal proceedings against him.
