Former Albanian President Alfred Moisiu has announced his participation in a protest in Tirana, calling for justice for Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) veterans.
Moisiu stated that he had met with former UÇK leaders at The Hague, emphasizing that their detention is illegal.
“I could not remain indifferent. It is very important because we must defend them not just as individuals, but especially for their leadership and work. The attack against them is unjust, and it also harms the blood and sacrifice of our people,” Moisiu said.
He added:
“Fortunately, I had the opportunity to meet them. I was deeply saddened when I saw them. Their imprisonment is a grave injustice and is illegal.”
The protest in Tirana aims to raise awareness about the alleged wrongful detention of UÇK veterans and calls for legal and moral recognition of their contributions.
