In the Municipality of Zveqan, Serbian nationalist graffiti has been placed again.
These graffiti repeat the writing “When the army returns to Kosovo,” on which the date September 24 is placed, where on this date last year, a Serbian paramilitary group had carried out an attack in Banjska, as a result of which Kosovo Police officer Afrim Bunjaku was killed.
“Don’t scream, we are here to help you,” is another graffiti.
The deputy director of Police for the North of Mitrovica, Veton Elshani, has spoken about the placement of the graffiti.
He told teve1 that the case is being investigated and that they will initiate a criminal complaint.
Officials from Kosovo’s institutions have not ruled out a similar attack from Serbia, calling on the EU and the USA to sanction Serbia for the action of September 24.
