Increase in Beneficiaries of the Kosovo Security Force Pension Scheme

In June of this year, the number of beneficiaries from the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) pension scheme increased.

According to the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, in June 2024, 847 people benefited from the KSF pension scheme. This represents a 15.2% increase compared to the same period last year, which had 735 beneficiaries.

In June 2024, compared to June 2023, there was also an increase in the number of beneficiaries from the following schemes: the Paraplegic and Tetraplegic Pension Scheme (13.8%), the Financial Support Scheme for Families with Disabled Children (11.0%), and the Disability Pension Scheme (8.4%).

Additionally, there was a 5.7% increase in the Compensation Scheme for Education Workers who worked during the 1990/91 to 1998/99 school years, a 3.3% increase in the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC) Pension Scheme, a 0.9% increase in the Basic Age Pension Scheme, a 0.7% increase in the War Veterans Pension Scheme, and a 0.7% increase in the Compensation Scheme for the Blind.
