The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has today filed an indictment against Z.P., based on well-founded suspicions that he, in collaboration with others, committed the criminal offense “War Crime Against the Civilian Population.”
According to the Prosecution, investigations have confirmed that Z.P., armed and in uniform, together with other members of the Serbian police and military forces, participated in the murder, wounding, mass deportation, and looting of Albanian civilian citizens who were not involved in the conflict.
The State Prosecutor has proposed that the trial be held in absentia, as the accused is currently at large.
