The Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment today with the Basic Court in Pristina against J. Sh., a Bosnian national, for committing the criminal act of “War Crime Against Civilians.”
He is accused of participating in the killing of three Albanian civilians during the Kosovo war, an incident that occurred in the house of the Dyla family in Gjakova.
“Investigations have also revealed that the accused participated in the expulsion of the Dyla family and the destruction of their property.
This criminal case has now been transferred to the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina for further proceedings.
The accused is currently in custody, based on the decision of the Pre-Trial Judge, pending a new decision by the court,” stated the Prosecutor’s Office in its announcement.
